Very few are actually available to purchase, All Ive been able to locate that
are currently
available for sale are from the TV shows Shindig and Hullabaloo.
I must also recommend you hunting down a doco called' The Songmakers Collection' - Which is an in depth look at the Brill Building, the song writers and some of the performers who were the voices from that period. The Shangri-las briefly feature in the doco. Theres some brief looks at the girls performing on TV, Mary talks about that time and how the public image wasnt really what or who the girls were, and there is also some amazing in studio photos of the girls recording ( and super 8 footage too!!). If you have an interest in that period of music, then this is a must see! One of the things that I feel is great about this doco is its thorough, informative, and you finish with a sense of what the songwriters endured and experienced . You will also learn the inspiration behind some of the songs, and the troubles that were surrounding the songwriters.
