Hi i’m shawn . thank you for alowing me to join this great site. i would like to appoligise in advance for any screw-ups i might make as i am at the bottom of the “being on the web” learning curve. i very much would like to buy prints of the fantastic photos on this site. may i ?, and if so how ?

Youre welcome. !!! As for being on the bottom of the curve, man Ive been surfing for years and still often feel like Im on the bottom of the curve myself.
As for the photos ? Well, most are not available, if there is a link at the bottom of the photo post, check that. I know with Robert Bayley you can buy her photos from Redferns. I dont know what the actual costs are from there, but that is something they do. Those sites are intended more for magazines etc… you see every photo in a magazine is used by permission with a fee to these photographic arcxhive companies. They protect the rights of the photographer and also monitor and facilitate there useage. As for the pricing of prints, thats up to the site .
The blog site is pretty young, and growing. I started it because I really dont have alot of time to update the other site ( http://www.theshangri-las.com) , and have found this a much easier way to post things. Alex is also the other moderator who is posting stuff he comes across, so between us we are trying to keep it moving.
